Story
Last year I ran the 2014 London Marathon and pushed my body. I lost 3.5 stone, dropped three waste sizes, my general fitness, health (mentally and physically) was better. I was more focused on everything. I became a different person. And I raised £2k for charity.
This year I want to go one better. Whats better than running one marathon? Well...two marathons I guess.
So on the 12th April I am running the Brighton Marathon - then three weeks later on the 4th May, I am running the Milton Keynes Marathon.
I saw this as an amazing opportunity to raise some money; so I am running the Brighton Marathon on behalf of Starr Trust. A brilliant Brighton based charity that specialises in helping young people (between the age of 10 and 18) whom come from low income backgrounds, don't have family support or have emotional, physical or learning difficulties achieve their goals. Be it in sport, art or education.
These are all things we take for granted but its a real issue for a lot of young people - even if its a tenner - it will make a massive difference to the charity.
