2010 Great London Swim · 3 July 2010 ·

We fund care, campaigning and research to achieve a world free from MND

Story

On 3 July 2010 Peter Buechel, Clive Freedman and Tom Osborne each swam a mile in the Great London Swim at the Royal Victoria Dock, London for the benefit of the Motor Neurone Disease Association at the request of Professor D Mark Cato and in tribute to the characteristic strength and determination with which Mark has joined battle with this disease.

For details on Mark Cato see his blog at www.dmarkcato.com

For details of our challenge see http://www.greatswim.org/Events/British-Gas-Great-London-Swim/Default.aspx

You may rightly regard our challenge as insignificant by comparison to the challenges facing Mark and other sufferers of Motor Neurone Disease in living their daily lives, in which case we would ask you to give generously in supporting the Motor Neurone Disease Association in their aim to rid the world of MND.
