My Next Challenge
This weekend I am off to Lasham Air Field in Hampshire to pull a jumbo jet 100 metres along the runway for charity!
I am part of a team of wheelchair users that will attempt to pull a 70 tonne jumbo for
The Disabled Flying Association to raise awareness of ABILITY rather than DISABILITY and we hope to break a WORLD RECORD at the same time.
The BDFA gives disabled people wings, piloting an aircraft, seeing the world from the sky is an excellent source of rehabilitation and life achievement. The charity operates adapted aircraft around the UK providing aviation experiences, flight training and social events. Every £ raised flies a disabled person or terminally-ill child.
