Story
So, I have never ran a marathon before, or any kind of charity run. But if there was ever a good cause and amazing person to run for, its to fight cancer and for my partners amazing mum, Karen.
Just about a year ago now Karen was diagnosed with Grade IV Glioblastoma (brain cancer).
A run couldn't be more fitting, as Karen has always been an avid runner, and even does her best to run even a year after diagnosis!
Me and my partner Jody are taking part in the Great Birmingham Run and are aiming to raise as much as we possibly can for our charities to show cancer it isn't as big and bad as it thinks it is!
