As many of you will know I've done quite a few marathons over the years, always on road and gunning for a good time and not for charity, just for fun.

This time it's a bit different, Beachy Head is an off road and hilly 26.2 miles so time isn't important but finishing still is! Also mum has asked me if I would run if for the Cancer Treatment and Research Trust. 39 years ago she was diagosed with an extremely rare form of cancer and they successfully treated her so I would like to raise as much as I can for them to say 'thank you'.

I know times are tough, but not as tough as cancer so if you can spare a little to sponsor me I'd be really grateful.
