3 Marathons in 3 Weeks - are we crazy!?!
No, not when it's for a good cause and also ........ because we can.....
So, why are we doing it??
We have both done marathons before in the past and we wanted to take on a new challenge to raise as much money as possible for those that are unable to do something so natural as to run....
The Queen Elizabeth Foundation works with people living with physical and learning disabilities or acquired brain injuries to gain new skills and increase independence. Whether it’s learning everyday life skills, rebuilding a life affected by brain injury, or training for future employment QEF supports disabled people to achieve goals for life.
Sarah first got involved with the Queen Elizabeth Foundation a year ago and now teaches an exercise class once a week to its residential members to help with their mobility and rehabilitation.
Becky used to work with both adults and children with severe learning disabilities to help improve their social skills and constant daily battles with trying to live a 'normal' like. Therefore, she wanted to help Sarah raise money for the foundation so that they can buy new equipment and resources in order to help them build a greater independence.
Please dig deep and help us complete our 79.155 mile challenge!!
We would like to thank you for all your donations and support, it is greatly appreciated as 3 Marathons in 3 Weeks seems quite scary at this stage.....
