Story
This is something we never thought we'd see. A sponsorship form for a sporting activity with the Kemp sisters as the subjects.
It is no secret that exercise isn't something that comes naturally to either of us. Blessed as we were to grow up in a loving family, it's part of our genetic make up to be exertion averse. All those years ducking and diving PE lessons, paying gym memberships but never actually setting foot inside and owning Fitbits but bulking up our step count walking in the hallway have not exactly set us up well for the challenge ahead.
Aptly naming ourselves Unfit and Unfitter (we'll let you decide who is who) we have nevertheless decided to take on the Thames Bridges Trek 2017 - a 25km walk across 16 of the capital's bridges - with a view to raising money for the Lymphoma Association, in memory of our wonderful mum, who lost her battle with the illness last August.
Mum dealt with her cancer diagnosis head on and remained positive and courageous throughout. We will take her beautiful and inspiring spirit with us as we endeavour to do her proud and get to the finish line in one, breathing piece.
We appreciate any support you can offer to us and thank you all so much in advance for giving us the continued motivation to do this.
