I am really excited to be taking part in The Big Walk 2019, which will be taking place on Friday 28th June. The aim is to walk 23 miles starting in Bamford and continuing through Ladybower, Bradfield and back down to the University!

We are fundraising for student scholarships to give as many students as possible the opportunity to study at the University of Sheffield. Scholarships are extremely important in giving students from disadvantaged backgrounds the opportunity to study at University. Without scholarships, students from lower-income backgrounds often have to turn to loans to cover their costs, leading to debts of £50,000 or more. I will be trying to raise as much as I can for this cause, to give as many students as possible the chance to study at the University.
