As hard as the physical effects, the emotional impacts of cancer can be just as difficult to deal with for cancer patients themselves and their friends and family. We experienced the work of Chai when our grandfather was diagnosed with terminal cancer in the last year of his life. With the help of Chai, our grandfather was able to come to terms with his illness and experience the last year of his life to the fullest. We saw first-hand how many people benefit from the services Chai offer - from the music room to the physiotherapy, we are confident that the money we raise for Chai is having a huge impact on so many people."
