Story

Hello and thank you for stopping by!

My name is Sarah and I am an enthusiastic employee of Together Trust. I am embarking on a quest to walk from The Shire to Mordor in one year (starting March 1st 2023). To do this, I will be completing all 5 Lord of The Rings Conqueror Challenges, the total distance of which is 660 miles.

Why Crochet Conqueror you might ask? I have recently taking up crochet as a form of ‘active mindfulness’ and am really enjoying it. I don’t enjoy taking selfies or posting pictures of myself, but I do enjoy walking, crochet, Lord of The Rings, photography and my place of work. So I thought it might be nice to bring it all together to raise some money for a good cause, without the attention being on me.

I’ll be crocheting some themed companions to come with me on my quest. Be sure to check back for regular progress updates from me and my crochet companions on our excursions.

Please click the Together Trust logo on this page to learn a little more about their fantastic work.
