Story
Done and dusted! Alex and Barry completed the French Iron Man in Nice on Sunday 28th July in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust!
This was Alex’s first triathlon completing the 3.8 km Swim in 1h 11min 32sec, the 180 km Cycle in 7h 17min 12sec and finally the 42.2 km in 5h 4min 8sec!!! Including the transitions Alex completed the Iron Man in 13hr 53min 29sec! Overall he was placed 1906 out of 2330 that finished. And out of the 62 under 25’s he was 32nd. He’s done everyone proud especially Suzanne & Stephen.
It’s an amazing effort and a great capping off to a years hard work of fundraising through some of the toughest challenges out there! For those of you who have only just seen our page we've taken on the gruelling Everest Marathon, the London Marathon an Iron Man and we’ve reached our £100,000 target but aim to keep going… we’ve just to find another challenge to take on! So dig deep and contribute!
