Story

is going through an exciting transformation: we are tremendously fortunate to be building a new, state-of-the-art school, due for completion in September 2010. This appeal seeks the help we need to put the finishing touches to a place of learning that will ultimately touch hundreds, if not thousands, of lives through the generations of children that will study, grow and flourish here.

We are raising £250,000 to fund three projects:

The building of an outdoor performance, learning and community space backing onto the River : this will give our students a unique environment that will further encourage, nurture and support their creativity and social development.

Audio-visual equipment for the indoor performance space: which will also be used for both the school and the local community.

Landscaping and furnishing of an outdoor social space: where children can safely interact in all-weathers.

We are extremely grateful for support of all kinds. For instance, if you have unused or unwanted AV equipment that we could use, please consider donating this to the school (you can get in touch with us at teddingtonschoolpta@ross.uk.com).

With our sincere thanks and good wishes,

Teddington School Parent Teacher Association

About the charity

Alongside their usual activities, Teddington School PTA has set up a special appeal to raise funds for the outdoor space for the new school. This will include an outdoor classroom/amphitheatre as well as a covered seating area for relaxation. Audiovisual equipment for the indoor performance area is also needed.
