I am planning to break the world record as the youngest person to row across the Atlantic in December 2015 as part of the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge.
I am supporting three small but hugely important charities: Brain Tumour Research, Princess Alice Hospice and BRACE - Alzheimer's Research.
My dad died of a brain tumour two years ago and received the most amazing care from Princess Alice Hospice during his illness. Brain tumour research is hugely underfunded and yet the largest cancer killer of the under 40s. Many suffer from Alzheimers and I want to help raise funds for charities that might see a cure for these devastating diseases.
Please choose one charity to support or split as you would like.
Be part of the world record. Donate £100 or more and you can get your name on a sticker which will cross the Atlantic with me.
The costs of my venture are expected to be £50,000 which I am hoping to raise from sponsorship and other fundraising activities outside of these pages. However the charities have agreed to accrue 30% of the amounts donated here towards our costs if I am unable to make up the sums. I have put my savings into costs to date. This will be updated as I achieve more corporate sponsorship
