Marrakesh Sep 30 to Oct 4 is the third Truants annual bike ride to raise much needed funds for 3 child related charities – Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy, Childline and Teenage Cancer Trust. The first two rides –with 43 riders along the Nile in 2010 and with 25 in Cuba in 2011 – raised profits between them of over £400,000 which was split equally between Nordoff Robbins and Childline. Entrance to the Truants is by invitation only and they come from all walks of life but a poor sense of humour, high endurance of extreme pain and a love of sport and, especially, associated activities, is a good start. Marrakesh will see over 50 good men and true, including a few ladies, make a great effort to reach our hugely ambitious target for the ride - £400,000.
