On 15th February this year one of our fellow school mums, Zoe, lost her short fight with cancer at the age of 41. Her lovely family are amazing and getting on with life as best they can but it's difficult to imagine what they are going through.
I will be swimming, (but where is gets very shallow, wading), nearly 6km of Evenlode in memory of a wonderful mum, daughter, wife, sister and drama teacher who wanted donatations at her funeral to be given to Katherine House Hospice and SeeSaw. Both these charities do a fantastic job before and after the loss of a loved one and as far as possible I would like to give an equal amount to each one. Despite the warm weather The Evenlode is extremely cold and to make it more challenging I will be swimming upriver against the current from Charlbury Weir to the halfway point at Catsham Bridge before turning around and swimming back again. I'm really exciting about doing this and would be so grateful if you could sponsor me.
