Mudderella officially launched in June 2013, an obstacle series for women. Courses are 5-7 miles, including between 12-15 obstacles, designed to test our stamina, willpower & strength.
We have chosen to raise donations for Wigan & Leigh Hospice. Wigan & Leigh Hospice provides specialist care, for those who are at the end of their life, to hundreds of people every year. They are a registered charity, funded mainly through the donations and support of local people.
The reason we chose to raise donations for Wigan & Leigh Hospice was to not only support a local charity, but on a more personal note one of the team members, Heather, her husband passed away at the hospice four years ago, having two young boys. She will always be grateful for the care and support they received from the hospice, but when we heard about Mudderella we decided it was an opportunity to give back.
