The lakeland 77 Challenge will see 7 walkers attempt to summit 77 lakeland peaks in 7 days!
We aim to raise £7,777 for Parkinsons UK
The event is a tribute to Alan Munnings, who passed away in December aged 77. He loved the lakes, spending many hours walking the fells with his family and friends.
The event will be Alan's final Lakeland walk, to his final resting place in the Langdale Pikes.
The event was an idea developed by Andy Munnings, who is determined to say a big thank you to the Parkinsons UK team, who have supported his family, since his Dad (Alan Munings) was diagnosed with Parkinsons over 10 years ago.
Alan first took Andy on to the Lakeland fells when he was 8 years old, climbing Cat Bells from Keswick.
The first fell on the 77 challenge, will also be Cat Bells, and will finish in Andy and Alans favourite part of the Lakes - The Langdales - followed by a pint at The Old Dungeon Ghyll!
