Firstly thank you for looking at our just giving page.
We are the Essex Police intake of student officers class G/13 in Essex Police.
Kids Inspire
As officers we really are passionate about giving back to our community so we figured we would set ourselves one of the biggest challenges we could think of in order to raise money and awareness for Kids Inspire.
Kids inspire is an Essex based charity that, through the use of councelling and therapy, engage with young people to make sure they are a valued member of society.
Children that get abused, neglected or go through trauma is supported by Kids Inspire and by their support ensures that they are not labelled as 'out casts' of society but instead positively challenging their behaviour that they may have learnt, to ensure they are included in society as a valued member.
We feel as police officers, that by engaging with our younger members of our community we can also help to sway them from crime and anti-social bahaviour not only does assisting us help the children but it can also help the people of Essex too.
The Prison Break
On Saturday 23rd November 2013 at 0800hrs we will embark on the biggest journey of our lives. We will try and get as far as possible away from HMP Chelmsford to try and raise money for Kids Inspire. Not challenging you may ask? Well it is when you are not allowed to spend a penny to travel! We will beg, steal and borrow (without the stealing...we are police after all) to get as far away as we can up until 1800hrs on that day.
