We're back & raring to go.......
We are a group of friends who are running the Edinburgh Marathon/Relay on Sunday 29th May 2022.
Who's running? Nolan,Nicola & Josh Andrews, Mark & Kirsten McClelland, Andy & Charlotte Nixon, Neil & Joanne Keery, Laura Willis, Nico Fell, Allan Nelson, Rachel Ballard & Rachel's good friend, Simone.
The majority of the team will be running in the relay however Nolan & Charlotte will attempt to run the Marathon.
Why are we fundraising for www.braintimourresearch.org?
Back in January 2019 we lost our much loved friend, Ross Ballard, following diagnosis of a brain tumour in Feb 2016.
We all grew up with Ross in Holywood, Co Down and we remained very close throughout the years.
We miss Ross terribly and we wanted to come together and raise some much needed funds in his memory. We asked his wife, Rachel,to nominate a charity.
Rachel has chosen www.braintumourresearch.org as during Ross's illness they felt that many of their questions couldn't be answered due to the research not being completed.
Therefore we are highly motivated in raising as much money as we can in the fight against this awful disease. We really appreciate you reading our story and hopefully you are able to make a donation and help us get a little closer to our fundraising target.
