So me & 4 guys at Data Select are up for a challenge based around fitness, strength & endurance.
Far right me, the brains & organiser behind it all Giovanni (or Gio to people who have known me for more than 10 minutes), middle is Jamie, he's got the crazy eyes & Nathan, slim & slender, on the left. The 2 little wannabe pretty boys on top are Scott on the right & Gary on the left.
So initially we have signed up for 2 of the toughest obstacle endurance races in southern England, Spartan 5km Sprint & Back2The Trenches 10km obstacle races within 22 days of each other.

...cross terrain, mud, hills, water, fire...run, climb, swim, jump, carry...this could be interesting.
Secondly we needed a charity to get behind so we chose 'Ataxia UK' which has a specific meaning within Data Select Ltd.
The charity, Ataxia UK, is a charity close to the DataSelect hearts. 'Caring for today, researching for tomorrow'. Ataxia means 'lack of order'. People with this condition have problems with movement, balance, coordination & speech. It is a progressive condition & currently there is no cure.
We will be keeping upto date our training progression & any interesting relevant stories along the way. Please do give generously and dig deep...this is just the beginning of our planned challenges ahead.
