Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page
After our 4 day Inca Trail trek in Peru last year.We needed to have another challenge so here it is
EVEREST BASE CAMP in NEPAL
We have decided to do this in Oct.
This is a 18 day trek and will be quite challenging for us reaching a height of 5500m. Please follow our blog to see how we are training to build up our fittness that we shall require to complete this trek. http://cooperseverestexpedition.blogspot.com/
Roy and I have decided to raised money for 2 charities, British Heart Foundation and AFASIC.
Afasic is a registered charity which represents the interests of children and young adults with lived experience of communication impairments, working towards their inclusion in society and supporting their parents and carers. As I work with many children that have communication disorders, I thought I can help with this worthy cause.
http://www.bhf.org.uk/ is the nation's heart charity. Every day they save lives, through pioneering research, providing vital information to help people reduce their own heart health risks, campaigning for change and supporting and caring for heart patients. We chose BHF due to losing Roy's dad and other people we know to heart disease.
I'm sure we all know of someone that either has a communication disorder or suffers heart disease
So please dig deep and donate.Thankyou
