Thanks for visiting my 2014 Challenge fundraising page.
I'm raising money for both the Alzheimers Society & The North East Trust for Aphasia.
My mum has been diagnosed with Alzheimers type dementia and a friend of mine suffered a stroke last year. To read more on the individual stories, please click on the specific fund raising page links at the bottom of this page.
I'm a keen runner but thought in order to raise money for charity I would take myself out of my comfort zone and set myself a personal challenge to take part in a triathlon for the first time as well as completing a number of running events.
I'm aiming to cover over 160 km across the year through swimming, cycling and running
I will be completing the following challenges throughout the year

I know times are hard and money is tight but every single penny does help.
It would be fantastic to see some familiar faces and hear some words of encouragement along any of the event routes to help spur me on..
