Cambodia Jan 24 to 31 2014 will be the fourth Truants bike ride to raise much needed funds for three child related charities – Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy, Childline and Teenage Cancer Trust. The first three rides –with 43 riders along the Nile in 2010, 25 in Cuba in 2011 and 41 to Morocco in Oct 2012 - raised profits between them of £754,250 which was donated to Nordoff Robbins, Teenage Cancer Trust and Childline. Entrance to the Truants is by invitation only and they come from all walks of life but a poor sense of humour, high endurance of extreme pain and a love of sport and, especially, associated activities, is a good start. Cambodia will see 40+ good men and true, including a few ladies, make a great effort to reach our ambitious target for the ride - £245,750 - which would enable us to reach our overall target of ONE MILLION POUNDS donated to these three wonderful children's charities. Your support is much appreciated.
Kindly note that all costs associated with the ride are paid personally by each Truant and every penny donated goes direct to Nordoff Robbins who account and share out the funds between the three charities.
