This page is dedicated in memory of our good friend Luke Holland who passed away 5 years ago. He was an incredible guy, funny, popular and widely loved and he will be eternally missed. In 2008, Luke was tragically killed in a traffic collision.
With every dark cloud, a silver lining emerges and if it wasn't for the amazing action from Surrey Air Ambulance that day, we would have lost Luke’s father Neil as well.
Surrey Air Ambulance are an incredible organisation, responding rapidly to accidents 365 days a year across three counties. However they are desperately underfunded and need our support to continue their incredible lifesaving support.
Neil spent weeks recovering in hospital but it was the immediate care he received on the scene which saved him. Together Neil and Luke’s mother Sally have been truly inspirational in organising events and raising thousands for the cause and their efforts cannot be overstated.
So to the point of this page. A few of us have thought it would be a good idea to take part in Movember, a full month of no shaving the upper lip and (hopefully) growing incredible moustaches. We invite you to join us, it’s easy to do, just click the ‘Join the team’ option below and set up a page that is linked to this group. Every penny raised is combined to try and reach our target.
Even if you can’t grow a great tash, (like myself and many others in this group) please consider joining or donating. The results of a month no shaving will be hilarious and we will be sure to post the final results for you to laugh at us all.
