Hello! My name is Aidan and I was recently diagnosed with ALL - acute lymphoblastic leukaemia! As a very active and lively person I decided there was no way I was going to spend a year doing nothing at all - so instead alongside a group of friends I've decided to fundraise like mad to try and help people and famil in situations like mine!
I have chosen two charities for this project - CLIC Sargent and CanTeen! Both of these charities work with young people up to 24 years of age - providing support for both the people with the cancer and those around them - such as family, friends and peers!
CLIC Sargent is a UK based charity, chosen as I study here in London and CanTeen are slightly closer to home working with people in Ireland, back home for me!
So so please get behind the cause and help people - whether it's a pound or more every little counts!
