In 2014, I began my battle with cancer. Due to the treatment, I was unable to make my Hatrick on the Plymouth Half Marathon.
I didn't want the charities to miss out, and decided to create 'Team Savo'. The intention was to get my friends to run on my behalf, and I was overwhelmed by the support I recieved!
12 runners, and many supporters, allowed Team Savo to raise over £7000 (including matched funding from Vodafone)!! This year I want to take it further, and raise even more for worthy causes, and I want to complete my Hatrick!
I want Team Savo to be the motivation to get people to raise money, knowing that you can be part of a great set of friends who can support you over the line!
