As you know the past 8 months have been some of the hardest me and my family have ever had to endure. Unfortunately on the 5th October Henry my 3 year old contacted Ecoli and disease called HUS which attacks our Kidneys, Stomach and Brain. Henry was admitted to Bristol Children’s Hospital on the 11th October and was in a coma for 6 weeks. Nearly 8 months later there has been some improvementand he has now been moved to The Children's Trust Neuro rehab centre where he can start some kind of rehabilitation to prepare him and us for his return home in 6-12 months.
Now Henry has moved I am concentrating all my fund raising efforts for TheChildrens Trust, by completing various fundraising challenges throughout 2014.
Please take the time to visit my Children's Trust page.
My first challenge was the ‘Rock Solid’ at Escot Park. Escot Park is a serious obstacle racing playground. The 10k race incorporates a few well-placed hills with extreme levels of mud involved. There are also 7 water features en route.
The second challenge will be a Skydive. On the 21st June
