We've joined together to raise money for a charity climb up Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help us smash this goal!
Planned for July 28th 2014, PATT is organizing a climb to the Uhuru summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in order to showcase the affects of climate change on our natural wonders. Following the Rongai Route, the climb will take 7 days to complete. Mount Kilimanjaro has fast become an example of how global climate change is affecting cultural heritage sites.
Each individual is raising money for the chosen purpose.
Ian Singleton decided to climb for Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Programme (SOCP),
Andy Steel is doing it for PATT's Environmental Education Portal project,
Ian Redmond is fund-raising for Ape Alliance, The Born Free Foundation, Wild Futures, Gorilla Organization and The Orangutan Foundation.
