6 year old Josh was diagnosed with a grade 3 ependymoma in 2012 when he was only 5 years old, he had surgery to remove the tumour (Mr. Lumpy Head) and then underwent an intense course of radiotherapy to kill the remaining cancer cells off.
He had a scan in March 2013 to assess the results of the radiotherapy, this scan showed a sac of fluid in place of the tumour. Doctors are not sure what it is and Josh has to have another scan in September to see if there has been any change.
In the meantime Josh is very happy to be taking part in Miles for Men with family friend and fundraiser John Rogers.
