We must be nutty jumpring out of a plane!
Students (and some staff they persauded) are going to skydive from 10,000 feet, free falling a terrifiying 5,000 feet in just 20-30 seconds and then gliding like flying squirrels the rest of the way.
Anything for a good cause, right?
As a group we chose North West Cancer Research Fund as our main charity because everybody on the team knows someone affected by cancer. NWCRF are a local charity raising funds for regional universities to research the causes and effects of cancer, 90p of every £1 goes to directly to research.
Big thanks to UCFB for sponsoring our team hoodies, they're going to keep us warm! That just some of us modelling them on the left, doing our best 'impersonation of squirrel skydiving'.
Dig deep and help us smash our target or we ain't doing it!
Lots of love,
The Flying Wirral Squirrel
