Thanks for visiting Team CRSL's (Convenience Retail Sri Lanka) fundraising page. Senior representatives from the UK convenience sector have joined together to raise money for a fantastic landmine clearance charity called MAG.
We finished! It was a gruelling challenge - cycling 440km coast to coast across the island of Sri Lanka in 40 degree heat. The climbs were really tough, nothing prepared us for the sheer length and height of them!
Last year, we smashed through our original £100,000 target and raised £136,440 for MAG by cycling through Vietnam and Cambodia. This money helped destroy unexploded landmines and bombs which has saved innocent lives, prevented terrible injuries and made land safe for people to grow food, walk to school and rebuild their lives after war.
This year, our target is £125,000. Your donation can really help us smash this goal so please dig deep!
Independent convenience stores are known for being friendly, delivering good service and supportive of good causes. This coming together of suppliers, wholesalers, retailers and supporting organisations shows all those attributes and shows what can be achieved by working together for a common cause.
Thank you, and here’s to team CRSL in 2016!
