Thanks for visiting Team Bert's fundraising page.
Bert was Alan's fire service nickname. Alan died alongside Jim Shears (Britney) in Shirley Towers, Southampton in April 2010. We are raising money in memory of Alan, Jim and all the fire fighters that were on duty that night and tried so hard to save their lives.
The whole of Hampshire Fire and Rescue as a unit and as individual fire personal has supported us so much over the past few years. Now its our turn to give back.
You'll see our team fundraising target on the right but we don't want to reach this target we want to completely SMASH it. Your donation can really help.
