Anyway, to business. For some reason, perhaps due to not stepping back smartly enough, Ali, Martin, Chantelle and Mark will be daring all in July. Their mission: to cover 100 mighty treacherous kilometres in as quick a time as possible, or alternatively to just drag their ravaged corpses across the finish line in time to escape being trampled by stampeding ramblers.

We're told that donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also, apparently, the most efficient way to sponsor us: Oxfam Trailwalker gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are dragged out from under the claws of HM Revenue & Customs.
