Hey everyone! We're back in one piece thrilled and elated to have achieved the St. Bees to Robin Hood's Bay Coast to Coast walk. We think we may be the first family with a 6 month old baby in tow to do this...ever! Because of this extra unknown challenge factor [called Islay!] we decided to wait until we had completed our 191 mile walkies before asking for our friends to sponsor our effort.

We felt we would love to mark our achievement by supporting Maternity Worldwide. So many thousands of women have no access to the basic maternity care which we completely take for granted, with resultant unacceptably high rates of infant mortality. We would be so grateful if you felt able to make a donation to this brilliant organisation...all those doubters who said we were crazy to take a dog, baby AND a mother-in-law up all those lakeland hills, eat your hearts out and dig in your pockets!
