On the 1st September 2013, I swam across the English Channel in 14hrs 52mins to raise money towards Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research, a cause very close to my heart as my dad died to a form of blood cancer.

Only approximately 1,300 people have successfully completed the channel crossing, and I went through over 2 years of daily training and preperation to get me ready. It was one of the most difficult experiences of my life, but every donation LLR receives really helps boost the feeling that it was worth it.
