Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit ourJustGiving page in aid of Adams Appeal.  I know that Adam and the bird family will be very grateful!  Please visit www.aaa-adventure.co.uk to look at the course we completed on 25/09/11 to work for your donations!

In July 2009, Adam was diagnosed with High-Risk Neuroblastoma, an aggressive and difficult to treat cancer. By the time of his diagnosis the cancer had spread extensively and more than 80% of Adam's bone marrow was filled with neuroblastoma cells.

Adam has been receiving continuous treatment under the care of the Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton and undergone treatments that nobody, let alone a little boy of his age should go through.  But despite all these treatments, he is still showing widespread disease.

There are no further treatment options for Adam in the UK. The next step is to take him to America or Germany for immunotherapy treatment.

Please dig deep and help the Bird family try for Adams future.

Thank you so so much from all of us.  Please also check out the following link for 'team adam' www.justgiving.com/teams/adamb  where all of the people that are raising money for Adam come together as one.  If you would also like to set up a page and challenge yourself in aid of his cause, join the team as that would be absolutely fantastic!!!
