At Zircom, we’ve set ourselves an ambitious but important target of raising £5,000 for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity this year.

Like many fundraising efforts, this isn’t just about reaching a random number. It’s about people.

Sadly, across our team, there are countless stories of those who have been affected by cancer in one way or another. It’s something that touches nearly all of us, often in ways that are hard to put into words.

That’s why this challenge matters.

We have already committed to many efforts in the coming months to raise funds:

On 4th June, one of our creative team, Jamie, will be taking on a 12-hour static bike ride to kick us off. We're all cheering you on, Jamie! (p.s. wear padded shorts)

Then, a few days later, the team is heading out to do the Wirral Coastal Walk. Celebratory bevs will be on the other side for you, team! And on that very same day, our new Project Manager, Jack is taking on the Port Sunlight 10k! Hope it's not too hot, Jack!

In July (date TBC), the team – hoses in hand – are hosting a Zircom Car Wash! Get sudsy, guys!

Then, on 27th September, our very own, Kat, is throwing caution – and herself – to the wind by jumping out of a plane!!!! No thanks.

And it won't stop there; we are committing to even more efforts as the year continues.

Because Clatterbridge delivers vital care, treatment and support to people going through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. The impact of their work goes far beyond hospitals – it reaches families, communities and support networks when they need it most.

Fundraising like this is never just about the events themselves. It’s about coming together, doing what we can and contributing to something that genuinely makes a difference.
