What is the 114 Qur'an Donor Wall?

The 114 Qur'an Donor Wall will be a bespoke installation in the heart of The Q-Institute. The wall will have 114 tiles, one for every Sura of the Qur'an. Each tile will carry the name of the donor who sponsored it and their name will be permanently paired with the Sura of their choice on the wall. Once installed, the wall will serve as a testament to those who helped establish the Q-Institute and make the Qur'an accessible in the heart of London.

114 Suras - Three Tiers

There are three tiers of tiles available with different Suras available within each tier. Secure your tile by donating in full or reserving the sura for £1k and the remainder in instalments (see below for further details):

1. Petal tile - £5K donation (96 Suras)

2. Connector tile - £10K donation (9 named Suras – see list below)

3. Centre tile - £15K donation (9 named Suras – see list below)

How to secure a Sura on the Donor Wall

If a sura is still available you can donate in full or in instalments. Once a Sura is chosen, it is gone.

DONATE IN FULL

1. Choose your Sura– please check the list at the bottom of this page showing which Suras have already been reserved (this will be refreshed as regularly as possible)

2. Donate in full for your Sura selection — make a one-off donation via this JustGiving page of your chosen tile/sura. Please include your name and the name of your Sura when making the donation on this page (no anonymous donations please!)

3. Email us at info@ceiuk.com & zeenat@ceiuk.com to confirm your donation, your full name, contact number & email and your Sura selection.

4. The Sura is only considered formally allocated when CEI admin replies to confirm. If someone has previously reserved the sura we will ask you to choose another sura that is still available.

5. Your chosen name for your tile will be added to the wall when it is installed.

DONATE OVER TIME (INSTALMENTS)

1. Choose your Sura – please check the list on this page which will show which Suras have already been reserved (this will be refreshed as regularly as possible)

2. Donate £1k on this JG page to reserve the sura. Please include your name and the name of your Sura when making the donation on this page (no anonymous donations please!)

3. Email us at info@ceiuk.com & zeenat@ceiuk.com to confirm your donation, sura selection, your full name, contact number & email and whether the remaining amount will be donated across 12 or 24 months. We will then get in touch with you to organise this.

4. The Sura will only be considered reserved once CEI admin has replied to confirm and set up the donation direct debit. If someone has previously reserved the sura we will ask you to chose another sura that is still available.

5. Once the final instalment has been made, we will be in touch to confirm the name you would like to be added to the Qur'an Donor Wall.

Can I secure a Sura on the Donor Wall with others?

Yes - and we warmly encourage it. A tile can be secured by:

1. An individual

2. Jointly with family or friends - a shared dedication that makes this initiative accessible to more people

3. As a community group - a masjid, study circle, community group or group of colleagues coming together to dedicate a Sura

If secured jointly – the names of donors will be inscribed with the chosen Sura, up to a limit of four words. Please note we may need to reduce the font size for donor names if you opt for more than two words. As shown in the tile images above, two words is optimum.

Why Support the Donor Wall?

1. There are only 114 tiles. Once a Sura is chosen, it is gone - every dedication is truly one of a kind.

2. Your name is permanently paired with the Sura of your choice, displayed within the Institute itself.
