Raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust and Multiple Sclerosis Society

Story

For a long time Bethan has wanted to donate her beautiful long hair again to a little girl who needs a wig. No one wants to wear a wig but for some little girls (and bigger girls), they lose their hair due to cancer treatment. Bethan also did this a few years ago and would love to help someone else by donating her hair again.

Bethan’s Auntie Scooby wore a wig when she first lost her hair after Radiotherapy so we know how important wigs are when you’re going through such an upsetting time. Bethan, as well as donating her lovely long locks, would love to raise some money for Teenage Cancer Trust, the charity that looked after Auntie Scooby when she was so poorly.

As well as raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust in memory of her Auntie Scooby, Bethan wants to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Bethan’s Nanny passed away at 57 years old having lived with this dreadful disease for 20 years.

Julie was always very active and didn’t let anything get in her way but one day the disease took over and it could only be slightly managed by medication. There is no cure and not many people know the effects. Despite being very poorly for such a long time, Bethan’s ‘Big Nanny’ always had a smile on her face and never complained. Your donation will help go towards researching new treatments in the hope that others with MS don’t suffer like Jules did.
