Our mate and walking buddy, John Andrews, has unfortunately been diagnosed with Stage 4 Bowel Cancer. Andy and Chris have decided that it would be a great idea to run (and walk) over 150 miles from John's favourite pub in our village, Braunston in Northamptonshire, to Anfield, the home of Liverpool Football Club, his beloved football team.

John has asked that we raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support who have helped him since his diagnosis.

Leaving on Easter Monday 2021, Andy and Chris will run / hike the entire way, mainly along the canal, and hopefully will persuade others to join them for parts of it. John hopes to join them for the last mile to Anfield. They are aiming to arrive on Saturday the 10th of April, the same day Aston Villa are due to play Liverpool there.
