It has been an unprecedented year in so many ways. Everyone has been impacted in some way by Coronavirus and it has put a stop to our normal way of life. People as well as businesses have been impacted, none more so than charities. I think it is important to do my bit to try and help them during this difficult time.

I'm a reasonable runner, but I've set myself a rather daunting challenge to run 10k per day, for 365 days. I will start and end with the Wigan 10k in September 2020 and September 2021 respectively. I welcome any company along the way so if anyone wants to run one or more of the 365 with me, please get in touch!

The charities I have chosen are ones that are close to not only my heart but also the hearts of loved ones. They are providing/have provided help to friends and family over the years and I think it is important to try and support them. The current situation means these charities are finding it extremely challenging at the minute.

I know lots of people are also struggling at present and if you‘re unable to donate that’s absolutely fine, but if you do have an amount you could spare, I know it will be greatly appreciated.
