Story
My sons name is Jordan he is 6 years old and he was born with Bladder Exstrophy a very rare, congenital abnormality, there is no cure for this condition but it can be treated. It is a complex combination of disorders that affect the bladder, urethra, and the pelvis.
The bladder is essentially inside out and exposed to the outside of the body. When he was born it was a big shock to our family and took time for us to come to terms with because we were unaware he had the condition prior to his birth. To date he has endured 4 major surgeries and 2 minor ops with more to go.
I have decided its about time I helped to raise some money for Great Ormond street....they need to raise £50m each year to carry on the life saving work they do, with out GOSH Jordan wouldnt be here so as a family we owe them a lot. I have decided that I am gonna raise some money by getting a PIRATES / GOSH themed tattoo done as a tiny thankyou to GOSH. There is no cost involved in getting the tattoo done as I have been lucky enough to find a shop that is willing to do it with out charging me so every penny raised will go straight to the hospital. So please give as much as you can, I know times are tough at the moment but Dig Deep and give what you can....
