7 Apr 08: last week before the marathon - only a couple baby runs 3 miles each - carb loading starts on Wed
4 Apr 08: tapering week - 4 runs - 3, 5, 3 again and finally 8 miles on Friday
28 Mar 08: longest weekday run - 9 miles - Green Park, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, St James Park and Green Park twice again - it took 1 hr 18m 24s to complete, average heart rate 151 with max heart rate 162 - got absolutely soaked
27 Mar 08: short weekday run - 5 miles - 2 laps around Green Park and St James Park - completed in 35 min 37 sec
25 Mar 08: long weekday run - 8 miles - Green Park, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, St James Park and Green Park again - it took 1 hr 06m 13s to complete, average heart rate 154 with max heart rate 171
22 Mar 08: long weekend run 12.7 miles (21 km) - 3 long laps near my house - completed in 1 hr 55 min 04 sec - average heart rate 149, max HR = 163 - let the tapering begin!

08 Mar 08: long weekend run - 19 miles (32 km) - 4 long laps near my house + 3 mile shorter one - completed in 2 hrs 55 min 50 sec - average heart rate = 149, max HR = 158
