Story
Hi!
We (Rob, Dan & Jason) have decided to challenge the Yorkshire three peaks in an exclusive 24 hour challenge, taking place between 09/04/14 – 10/04/14. The "official" Yorkshire three peaks challenge usually takes around 12 hours to complete. However we have decided to not “rush” (mainly due to fitness & safety reasons), and instead take our time as we are a little inexperienced as hill walkers / hikers.
Our aim is to raise a minimum of £300, which Npower have pledged £ for £, in aid of Macmillan cancer support. Please see the Macmillan website link below for more information about their charity and the work they do. We will be extremely grateful for any donations to help and encourage us to achieve our target.

This intrepid journey will begin (in the traditional order) with Pen-y-ghent (691m) first, followed by the tallest of the three; Whernside (728m) and finishing with Ingleborough (723m) before returning back to Horton in Ribblesdale. I think I can speak for all of us when I say that we are all both excited and apprehensive about our impending adventure, which will be a total of 24.5 miles!
We will be taking lots of pictures which we will upload and send to whoever wants to see us complete this epic journey.
