Story
Hello folks!
As you might have guessed by the name, this is a gaming related event held by myself and a close friend of mine, Greg. We will be playing through as many retro videogames as we possibly can from start to finish for a straight 24 hours. That means we'll have a lack of sleep to deal with.
We're raising money for the games based charity, GamesAid.
Games will be played out by me, Dazz, and my good friend Greg. We'll have assistance from another friend, Mike, to deliver us food, drinks, and be a technical engineer with our live stream.
We're going to try and get some special guests voice in over Skype and show support through there. So far, Mike Pollock (Voice of Eggman) has said that he will participate.
We will also be giving out prizes during our adventure, so be sure to listen out for ways you can win!
GamesAid is a new UK video games industry based charity. It distributes funds to a diverse range of charities; it is a means of giving something back on behalf of the industry. GamesAid acts as a broker of charitable activity on behalf of the industry, taking advice from all sectors. It is a non trading body. The charity is administered by Trustees, who operate on a fixed term basis. It is formally run by a chairman, who is also on a fixed term. GamesAid is a children and young people's charity.
We'll be streaming the event live online, so you can see the action of the game, as well as what me and Greg are up to during gameplay... Since we tend to really get into things.
We have confirmed that we will proceed with this event on January 6th, 2012 at 9am. We will finish our gaming January 7th, 2012 at 9am... We will most likely finish off the game we are playing at the final moment, depending on how far in we are.
We aren't aiming to get high scores or even good scores, we simply plan to complete the games from start to finish. We're not really good enough to beat any records, since those are held by the best of the best...
The major warning is that you might hear some swearing during the stream, as that is generally the way we deal with frustrations within a game. You'll also witness some pig ignorance, but what else would you expect?

More details will be revealed over the next couple months.
The list below of games is a playlist that we will try to get through - we don't expect to complete everything we list! We'll keep adding more as they're suggested.
