Sylvia can for UCAN. That's my slogan in my effort to raise £1,000 by the end of September'10.

Last year you all helped me beat my target & raised over £1,500. It would be brilliant to do the same again! Take note my page says I've already raised £325 but that's from last year & I can't get rid of it from the page! You can tell I'm nae that great with the old PC!

Well, I'm just about recovered from having 'Open House' on 18th followed by ladies evening. Still to do final tally but we have cleared £1,000.....how fantastic!!! Money still coming in & some returns will be credited back into funds. I'll get this page updated at weekend.

 

Despite the weather, (a howling gale wrecking the first gazebo loaned to me) everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Susan's pancakes went down a treat, Dougie kept the teas & coffees going, Jane & Kirsten did a grand job manning the stalls, Laura kept the kids entertained & the home made soup was a sellout.

 

Ladies evening was great fun with lots of laughs.
