Story
Dear Friends and Family,
January 15th will be one year since we lost Sydney. I cannot get over how fast the time has passed. When we first lost Sydney... time had stopped and each day it was a blessing to finally fall into bed and close out the pain.
We have had a great year raising funds for Sands... each event bring joy and tears into mine and Pets life. Thank you all so much for the continued support of this very important charity.
In 2011 I do hope that we will start work on the bereavement suits in the chosen hospitals!
With love Janet & Pete

Our Story:
After 4 years of trying to get pregnant and on our 4th IVF attempt, we were blessed to fall pregnant. Pete and I were thrilled. It was a rocky start but Sydney had so much love from both of us and from you our friends and family from all over the globe. Everyone was thrilled for us, we were thrilled for ourselves!
Why Sydney did not make it we may never know. She made it to 38 weeks, and if we had of know that there was going to be an issue with going to term we would have had a C section. But we cannot know these things and to help us through these dark days I have to believe that there was a reason. This loss, this pain has to be for a reason.... I hope one day to maybe understand it. But through the SANDS charity there is research being done to try to understand the reasons for babies being still born. This is a small charity and the work they do and the support they give is important to the families of those who lose their babies, babies who are such a huge part of their hopes and dreams right from the first day you find out your are pregnant.
Any donation it does not matter how small all work towards understanding the challenges these babies have coming to full term.
Thank you all in advance for your support.
With Love
Janet Pete and Angel Sydney
70% of funds raised will go to national Sands to support their research into the causes of stillbirth and 30% will go to Farnborough Sands to support bereaved parents in and around our local area. National Sands will also retain the Gift Aid element
