Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

We are setting up this fundraising page in memory our mother Sybil DeSouza,  who passed away on 29th March 2008 after a very long battle with Alzheimers.

Our mother was a huge supporter of HAPC and, before emigrating to the UK, she looked after the charity's affairs in Bombay.  Our intention is to sponsor a child in memory of our mother who voluntarily gave of her time and money to help some of the deprived and needy children.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: HELP A POOR CHILD will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.   So Please donate generously.

Please also look at the website www.helpapoorchild.com for examples of the charity's work.

Whatever you can donate, however small, would be gratefully received as every penny counts and doing it this way, you can donate online anywhere in the world without moving from your seat!

Thanking you in advance.

Joan, Elaine & Trevor
