CHARITY CHANNEL SWIM FOR J.A.C.K

(Joining Against Cancer for Kids

Jack Brown is the five year-old son of two Detective Sergeants who suffers from a rare form of cancer, Neuroblastoma. His life-saving and essential treatment is ONLY available in America and is hugely expensive.

In August 2007, two police officers are to swim solo from Dover to Calais in support of Jack and his family. Their aim is to raise £100,000 but this will never happen without YOUR support. The mammoth 27 nautical mile swim across the English Channel will test their endurance and fitness to the limit.

PC Loraine Verghese and DCI Bill Jephson are supported by a team of people who are helping them to realise their goal.
