We help people with a learning disability to live their lives as they choose.

Story

On Sunday 24th February, a large group of valiant ladies from Sussex Women’s Rugby will be running the Grand Brighton Half Marathon. They will be raising money in aid of two amazing charities that the club is supporting this year: Wooden Spoon and Mencap.

Wooden Spoon is a charity which aims to positively transform
the lives of children and young people with a disability or facing disadvantage across the UK and Ireland, through the power of rugby. They aspire to create the same opportunities for every child and young person, regardless of their background.

Mencap is a UK charity which strives to actualise their
vision of a world where people with a learning disability are valued equally, listened to, and included. Their challenge, alongside people with a learning disability and their families, is to make this world a reality.
